Musician’s Toolkit is a website owned by R Legacy Entertainment, LLC. We are very sensitive to the
privacy of internet users who visit this site, particularly children. Therefore we endeavor to
users all information regarding our identity, how we use personal information that is collected, how
contact us, and how they can access and update their personal information. We do not use any
information for purposes beyond those stated herein.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: COLLECTION AND USE
We collect information from users only on a voluntary basis in the following categories: first and last name, username, e-mail address, password, IP address, and school. Those things are stored on a managed server through Digital Ocean & managed by DevSquad, our web development company. We never disclose that information except as provided herein.
“Company” agrees that they are under the direct control of the school with regard to students’ personally identifiable information. The school remains in control of students’ personally identifiable information during any arrangement with “Company”. Student records continue to be the property of and under the control of the school district.
Upon subscribing to Musician’s Toolkit, a school enters in a contractual relationship.
A school has the right to review, have deleted and/or refuse to permit further collection or use of the student’s information. The school may send an email to email@example.com and we will take the appropriate steps to ensure that the request will be honored in a timely manner.
Musician’s Toolkit also allows for inspection, review and amendment or changes to student data via an authorized request from a school. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to make these changes.
In compliance with COPPA requirements, Musician’s Toolkit is prepared to respond to any requests from parents or eligible students to inspect and review personally identifiable information and categories of data being held in education records and for schools to authorize changes to that data in cases where such access and correction requires direct Member Company involvement and is not otherwise provided for by product functionality made available directlyto the school. Any requests for information may be sent to email@example.com for review.
Information provided voluntarily is used to register for a service/create an account, subscribe to a newsletter, submit feedback and/or send communication. When ordering products or services you may be asked to provide a credit card and other payment information. That sensitive information is transmitted to a third party company (Stripe) specifically designed to collect, encrypt, and process payment information. None of it is stored on our server.
Personal information is regarded as confidential and we do not use it for any other purpose, sell it to other parties, or disclose to any other third party. This also includes any sharing for advertising or marketing purposes. Though we do not use student information for the purposes of advertising and marketing, we do send correspondence to student emails with product updates, new video courses releases, etc.
In the event that Musician’s Toolkit decides to sell all or a part of its stock or assets or enter into a merger, we reserve the right to include Personal Information among the assets transferred to the acquiring or surviving company. Musician’s Toolkit will communicate directly through our website and We may use your IP address to diagnose problems with our servers, software, or to administer our services and gather demographic information.

If you are a school and you use Musician’s Toolkit for children under the age of 13, you are responsible for obtaining consent from the parents/legal guardians of each child you wish to allow to participate in using our services.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Children under 13 wishing to use or submit personal information to the site are advised to have their parents submit any request using the parents’ own personal data.

Any and all employees of Musician’s Toolkit who have direct contact with student PII are appropriately trained on security and confidentiality practices on a yearly basis to ensure thesecurity and confidentiality of student records. They are also required to have a background check. As such, Musician’s Toolkit is equipped with security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and unauthorized alteration of the information under our control. All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers. In addition to these security measures, Musician’s Toolkit conducts a security audit on an annual basis to ensure that our website is equipped and in compliance with federal laws and requirements for student and child safety.
We cannot guarantee that the information will not be lost or misused, but we make every effort to ensure that it is secure to avoid such problems. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personally identifiable information, you acknowledge that: a) there are security and privacy limitations of the internet that are beyond our control; b) the security, integrity and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this Website cannot be guaranteed and we shall have no liability to you or any third party for loss, misuse, disclosure or alteration of such information; and c) any such information and data may be viewed or tampered with in transit by a third party.
In the unlikely event that we believe that the security of your personally identifiable information in our control may have been compromised, we will notify you as promptly as possible under the circumstances. This includes a notification via our website (through a banner, or other form of notification) and an email to each user. Districts and schools will receive an email and/or telephonic notification of designated persons of the school district or other educational agency. This information will include the following information:
- Date of the breach;
- The types of information that were subject to the breach;
- General description of what occurred;
- Steps we are taking to address the breach.
- Contact person at the company who the data holder can contact.

We do track non-personally identifiable information like browsing actions, resources accessed, browser type, etc. with Google Analytics.
Upon agreeance of terms and services, Musician’s Toolkit is under the assumption that a district or school is also compliant with all federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) laws.
We do not share PII information with third parties or with collaborators. We do use Google Analytics, but the information isn’t associated with PII.
Musician’s Toolkit is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third party sites. For your own protection you should review the policies of those sites to ensure they meet your personal expectations of privacy.
